The main objective of this initial project for the Limon-Abano family was to create a mudroom space for a multi-generational family out of an existing closet space.  Their townhome did not previously have a place for changing muddy boots, hanging coats or storing hats and mittens during the cold Chicago winter months. 

With the installation of custom built-in storage units that included pull-out wire baskets and cubbies in a variety of sizes, we created a space that not only appears attractive but addresses a range of storage needs for a family that included young children and grandparents.  The materials and finishes were selected to harmonize with the existing finishes and details in this home.
